UMF Activities
The UMF seeks to support the subsea oil and gas industry by various activities including umbilical related workshops and joint industry projects. For further information please select ‘Engagement with Industry’ from the menu on the left of this page.
The UMF operates three committees. The Secretariat Committee is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the organisation. The Technical Committee covers all umbilical engineering activities of the UMF (for further information please select ‘Technical Committee Activities’ from the menu on the left of this page).
The Health & Safety Committee explores and promotes best safety practice in the manufacture, handling and storage of umbilicals and related products (for further information please select ‘Health & Safety Committee Activities’ from the menu on the left of this page).
