Subsea Power Umbilicals
Subsea Power Umbilicals : Used to provide electrical power and control functions for submerged/downhole pumps to overcome ultra-deepwater pressures, low reservoir pressure, long tie-back distances or high produced fluid viscosities. The umbilicals contain medium voltage power cores and may contain fluid conduits for pump service, and may also include control system functional components. The umbilical may also be used to electrically power sub-sea located processing and water injection equipment.
