Intervention Umbilicals
Intervention Umbilicals: Used to provide control to a subsea production centre in the event of loss of control through the main umbilical connection. Deployed from a vessel of convenience close to the production centre. Generally only included as part of a field development scope of supply where loss of production would have major financial implications, and the main umbilical functionality could not be re-instated relatively quickly.
